Following the success of our 2022 visit to the Bergen International Festival, we are thrilled to announce our return!
In May 2023 Luna Lab alumni Madeline Clara Cheng (2020-21) and Caleb Palka (2017-18) will travel to Bergen for workshops with young female and nonbinary Norwegian composers, led by mentor Therese Ulvo. In addition, both Maddie and Caleb will have their works premiered on festival concerts.
Caleb’s The Space Between will be receive its European premiere on May 26 by The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir Academy in a program hosted by soprano Lise Davidsen. Learn More
On May 29 cellist Amalie Stalheim’s new Classical link program will perform a program featuring a new piece by Maddie as well as works by the young female and nonbinary Norwegian composers. Learn More
