Luna Lab’s largest commissioning initiative to date, The May Festival’s 25 for 25: A New Time for Choral Music has commissioned 25 alumni of the fellowship program to write new choral works for ensembles across Greater Cincinnati.

Luna Composition Lab returns to the Bergen International Festival in May 2023 for workshops with mentor composer Therese Ulvo and young female and nonbinary Norwegian composers, plus premieres of works by Luna Lab alums.

The 2023 Luna Lab Festival will be held from June 6-10 in New York City, culminating in a performance of world premieres by the 2022–23 fellows.
