Luna Composition Lab and ChamberQUEER present the second installment of The Nebula Project on November 3 at National Sawdust. Helix will feature premieres by Luna Lab alumni Azalea Twining, Cecelia Olszewski, and Michelle David, as well as librettist Madeline Weisbeck, engaging with concepts of physical and metaphorical space, enclosure, perception, horror, and mysticism. The commissioned artists also serve as co-curators, shaping the themes of the evening and participating in the selection of pieces from fellow alumni from a call for scores. The program will also include compositions by Luna Lab alumni Olivia Bennett, Carolina Bragg, KiMani Bridges, Madeline Cheng, Devon Lee, Yuri Lee, and Mia Turakhia.
