KiMani Bridges
KiMani Bridges (age 21) is a composer and flutist from Louisville, Kentucky. KiMani has been commissioned by the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Louisville Symphony Orchestra, and LA Philharmonic, and her works have been performed at venues including Indiana University, the University of Louisville, and the Kentucky Center for the Arts. KiMani participated in the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival, São Paulo Contemporary Composers Festival, and was named a NextNotes High School Creator Award Winner. KiMani is pursuing her B.M. in composition and flute at Indiana Univerisity’s Jacobs School of Music under P.Q. Phan, Don Freund, and Thomas Robertello.
