Hannah Wolkowitz (age 17) is a saxophonist and composer from Chesterfield, Missouri. Hannah began playing the saxophone in 2019 and has performed as a soloist with the University of Missouri-St. Louis Orchestra and Alton Symphony Orchestra. She has also played alongside the U.S. Navy Band and St. Louis Civic Orchestra and performs with a variety of local and state bands. In addition, Hannah has participated in Indiana University’s virtual composition program and was awarded a top prize at the University of Missouri’s Creating Original Music Project competition. Hannah plans to study saxophone performance and music composition in college.
