Caroline Bragg

Carolina Bragg (age 20) is a composer from Brookline, Massachusetts. She finds inspiration in the strangest of places, from epic poetry to tropical birds. Her pieces have been performed in San Francisco, St. Louis, Houston, and New York. Notable works include her first professional commission from the Friction Quartet and a radio premiere on NPR’s From the Top. In 2022, Carolina received the Tidal Shift Award at the Portland Museum of Art for her climate-related choral work. Carolina is currently a sophomore at Bowdoin College. She is grateful to her mentors Paola Prestini, Alla Cohen, and Reena Esmail, and cello teacher Eugene Kim.
