Academy Award-winning Hildur Guðnadóttir is an Icelandic composer, cello player, and singer who has been manifesting herself at the forefront of experimental pop and contemporary music. In her solo works she draws out a broad spectrum of sounds from her instrument, ranging from intimate simplicity to huge soundscapes. Hildur will lead a masterclass and explore topics related to composition and inspiration with our 2025-26 fellows.
All classes in our Virtual Master Class series are open to the Luna Composition Lab community of applicants, Honorable Mentions, alumni, supporters, and affiliated organizations. We encourage you all to join us as auditors via Zoom.
