The Kronos Quartet performs six world premiere compositions by the 2023–24 fellows—Maria Emiliano, Ilaria Hawley, Haeon Lee, Peyton Nelesen, Marvel Roth, and Hannah Wolkowitz—during the Kronos Festival and the Five Decades celebration.
These are the culminating events of the 2024 Luna Lab Festival in San Francisco. Each performance at SF Jazz on June 20, 21, and 22 will feature two Luna Lab world premieres. Saturday, June 22 also features a Spotlight Conversation on the Luna Lab and Kronos Quartet collaboration with Artistic Directors Missy Mazzoli and Ellen Reid alongside members of Kronos Quartet.
