Caroline Bragg
Carolina Bragg (age 22) is a composer from Brookline, Massachusetts. She finds inspiration in the strangest of places, from epic poetry to tropical birds. Her pieces have been performed in San Francisco, St. Louis, Houston, and New York City. Notable works include her first professional commission from the Friction Quartet and an accompanying radio premiere on NPR’s From the Top. In 2022, Carolina received the inaugural Tidal Shift Award at the Portland Museum of Art for her choral work. Carolina is a junior at Bowdoin College where she is a Biology major, pursuing a career in STEM Education. As a member of the Bowdoin Symphony Orchestra, she remains dedicated to classical and contemporary music. She is grateful to her mentors, who have included Alla Cohen, Reena Esmail, and Eugene Kim.
